This role is crucial for guiding startups and SMEs through successful capital market transactions, specifically IPOs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships, a deep understanding of capital markets, and a talent for identifying and closing high-value opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential clients for IPO and capital market transactions by leveraging market research, data analysis, and professional networks.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with SME promoters, CFOs, investors, family offices, and channel partners.
- Pitching: Develop and deliver tailored pitch decks that highlight market opportunities, valuations, and strategic insights.
- Deal Origination: Drive IPO, Pre-IPO, and private equity deals by understanding client needs and proposing customized solutions.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal advisory and valuation teams for seamless deal execution.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Stay current on SEBI regulations and industry practices to provide compliant client guidance.
- Market Expansion: Expand our reach through cold calling, networking events, and partnerships with banks and wealth management firms.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in investment banking, capital markets, or business development, with a focus on IPO origination.
- Capital Markets Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IPO process, including deal structuring, due diligence, valuation methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
- Communication & Networking: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to build and nurture relationships with senior executives and investors.
- Negotiation Skills: A demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and secure mandates.
- Drive: A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
