Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and review of detailed financial models across industries, including valuation, operating, and scenario planning models.
- Supervise and mentor analysts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and analytical depth in all outputs.
- Integrate market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trends into robust modelling assumptions.
- Contribute to building and standardizing modelling frameworks, templates, and quality review processes.
- Support business development initiatives through analytical insights, pitch materials, and transaction support.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align deliverables with commercial and strategic objectives.
- Participate in designing and evaluating technical assessments for new hires to maintain a high talent bar.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in financial modelling, valuation, or transaction advisory.
- MBA in Finance, CA, CFA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Proven modelling expertise with a strong foundation in designing, auditing, and refining complex models for valuation, planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills, including proficiency in advanced formulas, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and dynamic model structures.
- Knowledge of VBA or automation tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation principles.
- Strong research and business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and integrate qualitative and quantitative insights into assumptions.
- Experience in managing client deliverables and reviewing analytical outputs.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability, capable of guiding analysts and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Problem-solving orientation with the ability to think critically, challenge existing frameworks, and contribute to developing best-in-class solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
