We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Officer to oversee and manage the institution’s administrative operations, including technical services, soft services, events, examinations, and stores management. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day functioning, infrastructure upkeep, compliance, and operational efficiency across the campus.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Services
- Supervise electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and civil maintenance activities.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of infrastructure and facilities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance activities.
- Monitor overall campus infrastructure and operational efficiency.
Soft Services
- Oversee housekeeping, security, and landscaping operations.
- Ensure campus hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained.
- Supervise outsourced staff and service teams.
- Conduct periodic audits and inspections.
Events & Examinations
- Coordinate logistics and operational arrangements for events and examinations.
- Ensure venue readiness, seating arrangements, and compliance with institutional requirements.
- Liaise with academic teams and internal stakeholders for smooth execution.
Stores & Asset Management
- Manage inventory and stock levels efficiently.
- Conduct stock verification and audits.
- Handle GRN processing, asset tagging, and disposal activities.
- Coordinate procurement activities and vendor follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree required (Engineering preferred).
- Postgraduate qualification with knowledge of facility management and stores operations will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in administration and facility management.
- Prior experience in an educational institution is preferred.
