Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our B2B vertical. The successful candidate will possess a strong history of achievement in B2B sales and a demonstrated ability to establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with educational institutions across India. This role requires significant nationwide travel to promote and implement the company’s innovative solutions within the school sector.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage, and develop professional relationships with key stakeholders in educational institutions, including administrators, principals, and relevant decision-makers.
- Strategically drive and manage business development activities within the B2B vertical to achieve defined sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Conduct nationwide travel to deliver formal presentations, product demonstrations, and engage in substantive on-site client meetings.
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the education sector, with a focus on establishing long-term client value.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform and refine sales strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with internal marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the management team.
- Professionally negotiate contractual agreements and finalize partnerships to maximize revenue generation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of progressive B2B sales experience, preferably within the education sector.
- Well-developed networking and relationship management skills with stakeholders in the education sector.
- Exceptional professional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Capacity and willingness for extensive travel throughout India.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- Verifiable experience in developing and managing pan-India sales operations.
