Business Development Officer

The Role:

As a Business Development Officer, you will be instrumental in achieving revenue targets and expanding the market presence. Your core mission will involve direct engagement with prospective clients to understand their specific learning and development objectives and present the compelling value proposition of innovative Certification Courses. Leveraging your established sales acumen and in-depth product understanding, you will effectively articulate the benefits of EdTech solutions, cultivate new business opportunities, and convert prospects into valued customers within your designated territory. This role necessitates a blend of strategic prospecting, robust relationship management, and effective sales closure strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-person meetings and deliver compelling product demonstrations that clearly showcase our Certification Courses and align our offerings with individual client requirements.
  • Articulately communicate the features, advantages, and unique selling points of our Certification Courses, effectively addressing client inquiries and concerns to facilitate successful conversions.
  • Proactively identify and engage potential clients within the defined geographical area to establish a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Provide timely and insightful reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market intelligence to the management team.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, enduring relationships with key decision-makers across educational institutions and other relevant organizations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the broader sales team and the Sales Head to achieve both individual and collective sales goals, contributing directly to the overall organizational growth.
  • Commit to continuous enhancement of product knowledge and sales proficiency through ongoing training and professional development initiatives.

  • Represent Hunarho Learnings at relevant sales events, exhibitions, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of evolving industry trends, competitive dynamics, and shifting customer preferences to proactively identify emerging business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success with 1-2 years of experience in a sales capacity within the EdTech sector or B2B sales environments.
  • Proficiency in delivering impactful product demonstrations and possessing strong product knowledge.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, demonstrating a drive for continuous sales growth and the capacity to work effectively both autonomously and as a collaborative team member.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with the local education ecosystem and existing professional connections within the education sector are advantageous.
  • Willingness to undertake regular travel within the assigned geographical territory.
