Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to independently manage end-to-end accounting operations and statutory compliances. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in accounting, returns preparation, and reporting, along with a solid foundation in finance.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances
• Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally (ERP)
• Handle bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and month-end closures
• Prepare basic financial statements and MIS reports
• Use MS Excel for accounting reports, data analysis, and reconciliations
• Coordinate with auditors and support statutory/internal audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• CA IPCC cleared (Highly Preferred)
• 4–9 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Strong working knowledge of Tally
• Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and statutory returns preparation
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in handling audits and compliance documentation
• Basic understanding of income tax provisions
