Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Associate with 3+ years of post-qualification experience. The role involves representing clients before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities while managing end-to-end litigation and dispute resolution processes. The candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, conducting legal due diligence for corporate transactions, and advising on insolvency, bankruptcy, and compliance matters. The position requires strong expertise in interpreting and applying corporate and regulatory laws such as the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and IRDAI guidelines. This role demands excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients before High Courts, Tribunals, and other quasi-judicial and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and financial transactions, ensuring legal compliance.
- Lead and manage litigation and dispute resolution to mitigate risks and secure favorable outcomes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Advise on matters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), including resolution and asset recovery.
- Research and interpret corporate and regulatory laws such as Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, and IRDAI guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on regulatory issues, compliance, and investigations.
- Support client negotiations, investor communications, and corporate structuring.
