Software Product Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Software Product Manager to take ownership of platform operations, reliability, releases, and customer deployments across both our Global Cloud (SaaS) and Local Deployments. This critical role acts as the bridge between product operations, engineering execution, DevOps reliability, security posture, and deployment governance, ensuring robust and scalable software delivery for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor platform uptime, latency, ingestion gaps, and overall service reliability.
• Manage incident response, escalation workflows, and detailed postmortems.
• Ensure robust database maintenance, system backups, restores, and operational cost controls.
• Run release trains for the cloud platform, manage staged rollouts, and maintain effective rollback plans.
• Own version control discipline across all services and maintain strict release traceability.
• Execute and validate software deployments directly with customer IT/OT teams.
• Ensure local, on-premise, or private cloud deployments are packaged, documented, repeatable, and easily upgradeable.
• Manage inbound data pipelines (MQTT/HTTPS/API) and outbound integrations (reports, exports, dashboards, and customer systems).
• Support and implement standard connectivity protocols wherever applicable.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Hold a B.Tech, B.E, or M.E in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Possess 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in platform operations, SaaS deployments, DevOps/SRE, or enterprise-level software delivery.
• Demonstrate proven experience in managing both cloud-based SaaS and customer-specific deployments (on-premise or private cloud).
• Have a strong technical understanding of backend systems, APIs, time-series data, and core reliability principles.
• Exhibit working knowledge of Docker/Containers, Linux, Networking, Reverse Proxies (NGINX), TLS, SQL, and Postgres.
• Show familiarity with time-series storage patterns (e.g., Influx-like concepts) and system monitoring/observability (metrics, logs, traces).
• Bring solid documentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Possess good-to-have knowledge of IoT data pipelines (MQTT brokers, device telemetry), role-based access control (RBAC) patterns, audit logging, and regulated deployments (data residency/privacy requirements).
