Steel Detailer

Job Description:

1. Develop high quality, accurate 3D models for steel using software and AutoCAD software and applying knowledge of structural steel systems
2. Participate in coordination meetings to identify and incorporate changes in design model
3. Check the quality of work for accuracy before submissions to client teams. Meet quality metrics established for the project.
4. Carefully study project documents – drawings, details, RFIs and addendums. Identify missing information, discrepancies and constructability issues
5. Structural G.A Preparation (Steel), Column Drawing Preparation, Beam detailing, Bracing detailing, Grating, Hand railing, Stairs drawing preparation, LGSF steel structure, Material Handling Steel Structure

Qualities Required:

1. Create accurate 2D drawing deliverable from model.
2. Knowledge of PEB components and its manufacturing process
3. Proven successful experience as a Detailer in PEB and heavy structure
4. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, juniors, other departments, sales teams, management, customers.
5. Regular relationship development and feedback with the team of manufacturing, Architects, Projects Engineers, Designers and customers.· Good communication and interpersonal skills
