Technical Manager – Air Quality

Role Overview:

We are looking for a technically strong and responsible professional to lead air quality data performance and sensor analytics initiatives. You will drive improvements in data reliability, guide calibration and correction methodologies, evaluate performance metrics, and support a technical team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world environmental data challenges and wants to grow into long-term technical leadership within a structured industry setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze air quality sensor datasets and evaluate performance across various climates.
• Support calibration, correction, and validation methodologies.
• Investigate data inconsistencies and recommend structured improvements.
• Contribute to performance benchmarking and validation studies.
• Guide and mentor junior team members in data analysis workflows.
• Review analytical outputs and ensure high-quality documentation.
• Support the structured monitoring of deployed sensor systems.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, software, and product teams to translate analytical findings into practical improvements.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of air quality monitoring systems.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree (or PhD) in Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in computing languages utilized for data analysis.
• Have experience working with time-series or real-world sensor datasets.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of statistics and performance evaluation metrics.
• Maintain a highly structured problem-solving mindset.
• Show exposure to air quality monitoring systems (e.g., PM, NO2, O3, CO).
• Bring experience with calibration studies or collocation analysis (a strong plus).
• Demonstrate familiarity with IoT-based environmental monitoring platforms.
• Possess prior experience mentoring interns or junior analysts
