Head – Finance, Compliance, and Analytics (FC&A)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Head of Finance, Compliance, and Analytics to steer the financial and regulatory pillars of our organization. This role is critical to our operational success, involving the oversight of financial records, strict adherence to SEBI and tax regulations, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting and Finance Operations

• Financial Integrity: Maintain precise, up-to-date financial records and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Reporting: Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements to stakeholders, providing insights on company performance.
• Operations: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, accounts receivable, and other daily operational finance tasks.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely filing of all company returns, including GST, TDS, and Professional Tax (PT).
• Corporate Compliance: Manage annual MCA/ROC compliances for group companies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.

2. Regulatory Compliance (SEBI & Companies Act)

• SEBI Regulations: Demonstrate a deep understanding of SEBI compliances specifically for Investment Advisory and Portfolio Managers by staying updated with relevant circulars.
• Advisory: Provide expert guidance to management and employees regarding regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Reporting: Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all required reports to SEBI.

3. Taxation & Advisory

• Income Tax Expertise: Possess thorough knowledge of the Income Tax Act and associated regulations.
• Tax Computation & Filing: Compute taxes and file returns for a diverse range of client categories, including Individuals, HUFs, Trusts, Companies, and Partnerships.
• Departmental Liaison: Handle scrutiny and notices from the Income Tax Department effectively.

Candidate Profile (Ideal Requirements)

• Qualification: Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience: Ideally 1–3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Tally is required.
• Knowledge Base: Strong grasp of Indian accounting procedures, the Income Tax Act, and SEBI regulations.
