We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and manage large-scale implementation programs across global maritime clients in areas including IoT and gateway technologies, sensor data tapping, interfacing with onboard machinery and equipment, and real-time data telemetry. In this role, you will oversee multi-stakeholder projects involving complex integrations between onboard IoT devices, data acquisition systems, analytics platforms, and customer operations. You will play a pivotal role in driving cross-functional alignment, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and managing customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle, with your most important KPI being to accelerate the go-live cycle for remote data telemetry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale IoT deployment programs, including the installation and commissioning of the platform across fleets and global clients.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality to ensure complete alignment with customer and business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as IoT engineering, platform development, data analytics, and customer success, as well as external partners like hardware vendors, ship operators, and system integrators.
- Develop detailed project plans, milestone tracking dashboards, and progress reports for management and customers.
- Ensure IoT device provisioning, testing, and integration with platform services are completed according to defined SLAs.
- Drive governance meetings with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to guarantee smooth execution.
- Manage risk assessment, change control, and issue resolution for all program components.
- Track and report critical program KPIs, including deployment velocity, uptime, data accuracy, and performance analytics delivery.
- Support continuous process improvement and the standardization of IoT program delivery practices.
- Mentor and guide team members or coordinators assigned under the program.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, specifically in Electronics, Electrical, Marine, IT, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of total professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to program management of large-scale IoT, Industrial Automation, or Maritime Digitalization projects.
- Solid understanding of IoT ecosystem components, including devices, sensors, gateways, cloud platforms, and communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, RTU, TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Proprietary protocols, and NMEA.
- Strong project management skills tailored for multi-stream, cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as Zoho Project or equivalent platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with strict attention to technical and operational details.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, global, and maritime environment.
- Prior experience working in maritime, offshore, logistics, or other asset-heavy industries is considered a strong advantage.
