Business Development Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for a confident and communicative Business Development Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in reaching out to prospects, tracking sales performance, and supporting revenue generation within the environmental monitoring domain. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction and smooth coordination across internal teams to drive business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate tracking of regional sales performance, revenue, and key business metrics.
  • Deliver timely and insightful periodic reports to management for decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and outstanding dues.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with finance teams for billing and collections.
  • Support timely realization of revenue by tracking pending payments.
  • Execute outbound outreach campaigns across various channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn).
  • Identify and generate potential leads aligned with overall business goals.
  • Build and maintain an updated and structured database of prospects.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client queries, follow-ups, and coordination.
  • Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Ensure high responsiveness and continuous client satisfaction.
  • Support revenue generation through the identification of upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Assist in progressing leads through the sales funnel via timely follow-ups.
  • Manage professional email communication on behalf of sales leadership.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, track action items, and ensure smooth coordination for leadership priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of client requirements, acting as a bridge between sales, operations, and finance.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Possess 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Business Development, Sales, or Inside Sales.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside strong confidence and interpersonal abilities.
  • Show proven ability and success in lead generation and B2B sales.
  • Exhibit proficiency in LinkedIn outreach and various virtual meeting tools.
  • Possess strong presentation, negotiation, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Be a highly proactive, result-oriented professional comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Show adaptability to work effectively with global clients across different time zones.
  • Bring prior experience in international sales or partner development (considered a strong added advantage).
