Fund Raising & Client Facing (Investment Banking)

We are seeking a dynamic Investment Banking professional for a direct client-facing role focusing on fundraising. The role requires strong financial understanding, exceptional communication skills, and hands-on deal execution capability for Alternative Investment Funds, specifically dealing with large ticket sizes. This is a full-time position that requires candidates to relocate and operate from the primary office location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in fund-raising mandates including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Debt, and Structured Finance.
  • Prepare and present investment pitches to investors, family offices, funds, and high net worth individuals.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, and negotiations with potential investors.
  • Support senior bankers in deal origination, client pitching, and mandate acquisition.
  • Maintain relationships with investors, funds, and intermediaries, track investor feedback, and manage follow-ups throughout the fund-raising cycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for investors and corporates for large ticket sizes.
  • Handle client communication with clarity and professionalism, build strong relationships, and manage client queries with timely follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of processes.
  • Prepare Information Memorandums, pitch decks, teasers, and financial models.
  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and industry research, and assist in due diligence coordination covering financial, legal, and commercial aspects.
  • Prepare data rooms, trackers, and management information systems for live deals.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and internal teams for documentation, and support the execution of term sheets, transaction documents, and deal closure.
  • Perform industry research, company profiling, and benchmarking, and analyze financial statements, projections, and business models.
  • Prepare internal notes and deal summaries for management and investors.
  • Maintain deal trackers, pipeline reports, and investor databases, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and internal process requirements.
  • Assist in post-deal documentation and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master of Business Administration in Finance, Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, CA-Inter, or a Finance Graduate.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in investment banking, fund raising, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of investment banking and fund-raising processes, with proven exposure to equity or debt fund-raising transactions.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing Information Memorandums, pitch decks, data rooms, and financial models.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and advanced Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with investors, funds, or financial institutions.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to seamlessly handle both client-facing interactions and backend execution work.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a willingness to relocate as required for the role.

CTC: 12-18 LPA (Based on Experience)
