Sr. Analyst – Ratings

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Analyst – Ratings to join a credit analysis team within the financial services domain.

The role involves conducting detailed financial and credit assessments, leading a team of analysts, interacting with company promoters, preparing rating notes, and managing end-to-end coordination with rating agencies. The ideal candidate should have strong financial analysis capabilities, sound credit assessment knowledge, and prior experience in managing a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Associate Credit Analysts while ensuring high-quality and timely analytical output.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Notes to Accounts to assess the financial health of companies.
• Evaluate key financial ratios, including liquidity, solvency, profitability, and other credit metrics, to determine financial strength and creditworthiness.
• Interact with company promoters and management teams to understand business operations, financial performance, and key business drivers.
• Analyse company performance against relevant industry benchmarks and market trends.
• Guide the analytical team in preparing detailed rating notes and credit assessment reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
• Review financial and qualitative information to support comprehensive credit evaluations.
• Manage end-to-end coordination and communication with credit rating agencies throughout the rating process.
• Ensure timely submission of information, reports, and documentation required for completion of rating assignments.

Requirements

• MBA in Finance / M.Com / CMA / CFA qualification.
• 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in credit analysis, ratings, financial analysis, or a related domain.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role, managing or mentoring a team.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial ratios, credit assessment, and business analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with company promoters, management teams, and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Experience: 4–6 Years Post Qualification
Location: Sector V, Kolkata
Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturdays Off)
