Your Role & Responsibilities:
As Team Lead, you’ll manage daily operations and elevate client services. Your key responsibilities include:
- Team Oversight: Manage staff workloads and foster a productive environment.
- Quality Assurance: Prepare process documents and review client files meticulously.
- Bookkeeping & Engagements: Review bookkeeping (QuickBooks & other software) and prepare working papers for Caseware review and audit engagements.
- Tax & Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure adherence to firm accounting processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize technology for learning, share knowledge, and enhance service delivery.
- Project Support: Assist with ad-hoc projects, including administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
A self-starter with strong communication skills and a proven track record.
- Experience:5+ years managing an accounting team at a CA firm.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with TaxCycle, CaseWare, Jazz-It, and QuickBooks.
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
- Preferred: Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.
- Asset: Experience with a Canadian outsourcing firm is an asset.
Compensation & Perks:
Alongside competitive standard compensation:
- CTC- 10-20 LPA(Depending upon experience)
- Incentive Program: Eligible for an accountant incentive program after 2 years (2% of Canadian client billings for fully managed files).
- Vacation: Two weeks annual vacation (no vacation in Jan & Jun due to tax deadlines).
