Business Development Associate

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our online courses to prospective customers, including college students and working professionals.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Chennai, involving direct interaction with leads through cold calling, achieving sales targets, and closely collaborating with the team lead to track performance and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective customers, including students and working professionals
  • Engage with and convert company-provided organic leads into customers
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as defined by the team lead
  • Collaborate with the team lead for regular performance tracking and feedback
  • Effectively communicate product value and close sales through strong persuasion skills
  • Adapt to flexible working hours based on customer availability
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the edtech sector
  • Experience selling to college students and working professionals
  • Fluency in Tamil and English (mandatory)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with high adaptability
  • Basic understanding of IT courses or the technology domain is an added advantage
