Job description
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to join edtech sales team and drive company growth by selling online courses to college students and working professionals. This role involves cold calling prospects from a pool of provided leads, achieving sales targets, and reporting daily progress while adapting to flexible working hours.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Reach out to prospective customers, including college students and working professionals, via cold calls.
- Work with organic leads provided by the company.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the team lead.
- Collaborate with the team lead for performance tracking and reviews.
- Drive sales through strong persuasion and deal-closing skills, contributing to company growth.
- Adapt to flexible shifts based on customer availability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in any field.
- 6 months to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the edtech industry.
- Experience targeting college students and working professionals.
- Fluency in Tamil and English.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
- Strong ability to close deals and meet targets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Knowledge of IT courses and the technology sector is a plus.
