Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly proficient Database Administrator to manage and optimize complex data systems. This critical role demands expertise in maintaining and securing high-performance database environments, with a focus on modern, scalable deployment strategies.

Core Responsibilities:

Diverse Database Administration:

• Expert-level administration of relational and document-oriented database platforms, with a strong emphasis on platforms such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Implement and manage advanced database configurations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Execute comprehensive database maintenance, including backups, performance tuning, and security patching.

Containerized Data Deployment:

• Deploy, manage, and scale database systems within container orchestration environments, specifically focusing on Kubernetes Database Deployment.
• Optimize resource utilization and ensure seamless database operation within containerized infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues in Kubernetes environments.

Proactive Database Monitoring:

• Implement and manage comprehensive database monitoring solutions, utilizing tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify potential bottlenecks to ensure optimal database health.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations and monitoring procedures.

Security and Compliance:

• Enforce stringent security protocols to protect sensitive data, including encryption, access control, and auditing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry best practices.
• Data migration experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience with major cloud service provider platforms.
• Familiarity with various database management systems.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
