HR Manager

Responsibilities
A. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
  • Design & Scale Recruitment: Architect a high-performing recruitment engine that ensures the balance of speed and quality across all functions, including rapid expansion into new cities and branch operations.
  • Employer Brand: Position the company as a destination employer by crafting compelling narratives across all platforms to attract a strong, culturally-aligned talent pipeline.
  • Cultural Alignment: Ensure all new hires embody company’s values while possessing the skills for operational excellence.
B. Performance, Culture & Growth
  • Performance Management: Implement quarterly evaluation systems for real-time feedback, transparent metrics, and clear alignment of individual contributions with company objectives.
  • Development & Training: Design and deploy comprehensive programs for skill enhancement and leadership development, demonstrating commitment to career growth.
  • Culture Building: Actively strengthen a professional culture of integrity, ownership, and innovation through communication frameworks and recognition rituals.
C. HR Systems & Compliance
  • System Implementation: Establish the foundational HR infrastructure, including comprehensive policies and the evaluation/deployment of an HRMS for digital efficiency and real-time visibility.
  • Compliance & Payroll: Ensure flawless and proactive execution of payroll processing, statutory deductions (PF, ESI, etc.), and labor law adherence across all locations.
D. Leadership & Strategic Partnership
  • Strategic Partner: Serve as a trusted advisor to founders, influencing high-level decisions on organizational design, team structures, and growth strategy.
  • Workforce Planning: Forecast hiring needs and develop playbooks for rapid team building aligned with the business expansion roadmap.
  • Compensation Strategy: Develop competitive compensation frameworks to attract and retain top performers.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years in HR leadership within a fast-growing B2C, Retail, or Financial Services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish scalable HR policies and people processes from scratch.
  • Views HR as a strategic function that drives business outcomes and is passionate about building a strong brand culture.
  • Interpersonal skills that balance empathy with firmness for effective coaching and advising senior leadership.
