We are seeking a commercially strong and detail-oriented Project Head – Contracts & Commercial to manage end-to-end commercial aspects of Electrical & Instrumentation projects. This role will be based at the Head Office and will drive contracts, costing, billing, vendor management, and financial performance of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project contracts, including change orders, claims, and variations
- Handle offers, quotations, and BOQ submissions for new and ongoing projects
- Perform rate analysis and ensure competitive and accurate costing
- Drive material vendor onboarding, negotiations, and finalization of rates for project execution and client quotations
- Monitor project cash flow, cost control, and financial performance
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and coordination with site teams
- Ensure timely billing and expedite collections from clients
- Track and report project performance, including scope changes and commercial status
- Coordinate closely with project, site, and procurement teams for seamless execution
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in contracts & commercial management for E&I or industrial projects
- Expertise in BOQ preparation, costing, and tendering
- Good understanding of project financials, billing cycles, and cash flow management
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors
- Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams and clients
Qualifications & Experience
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Total 6–8 years of relevant experience in contracts, commercial, and project costing roles, 2 years site experience recommended.
