We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Documentation Specialist to join our Fragrances & Aroma Ingredients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global regulatory requirements and documentation processes within the fragrance industry. This role involves managing and delivering key regulatory documents such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS), IFRA allergen reports, and other compliance documentation, while providing accurate and timely support to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access, review, and manage regulatory documents including SDS, IFRA allergen reports, CLP, EU GHS, and non-animal testing reports.
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate regulatory information to internal teams and clients.
- Stay up to date with IFRA, EU, CLP, REACH, and other relevant fragrance industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance for all fragrance and aroma ingredient products.
- Develop and maintain a sound understanding of fragrance safety assessments such as skin irritation and sensitization testing.
- Respond independently to regulatory documentation and compliance-related queries, providing efficient and effective solutions.
- Maintain organized records, databases, and documentation for all compliance materials.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in regulatory affairs, preferably within the fragrance, cosmetics, or aroma ingredients industry.
Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of IFRA guidelines and regulations.
- Working knowledge of EU GHS and CLP (Classification, Labeling, and Packaging) regulations.
- Familiarity with non-animal testing methods and REACH compliance.
- Proficiency in Safety Data Sheets (SDS) preparation and allergen labeling standards.
- Experience with electronic databases and document management systems for regulatory documentation.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or within a team environment.
