Senior Credit Analyst

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to be part of the Risk function, with a specific focus on quantitative risk management & assessment objectives looking at credit portfolio risk. Looking for a candidate who has perseverance, passion and commitment for Data Analytics. Goes above and beyond by taking additional responsibilities. Consistently creates value for and stakeholders through high quality outcomes. Ensuring excellence in all aspects of work. Efficiently manages time, prioritizes tasks, and achieves higher standards.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed credit reports and summaries for stakeholders.
• Support quantitative risk measurement by developing various insights for business implementation.
• Identifying Key Process Improvements
• Performance testing of External Data Sources
• Creating Dashboards on Tableau.
• Analysing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies etc.
• Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
• Transform raw data into actionable business insights
• Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance
• Keep abreast of industry news and trends
• Fraud identification and ability to connect the dots for data driven mitigation strategies.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience in Analytics at least 3+ years
• Experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau is a must)
• Python (Is a Plus)
• Fraud Identification and Mitigation experience is a plus.
• Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to find patterns in data and analyse potential impact against key business drivers
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree preferably with specialization in Statistics / Computer Science.
